Freedom Trail
In a silent still night
On empty city streets
The moonlight shines bright
Casting shadows on walking feet.
Bloodshot eyes,
Dirtied white-tee,
The odor of outside,
Need some sleep.
Hard wood
Don't come around here often,
I suppose I could
Dream in an open coffin.

Home
Home
A unfinished puzzle rests idly on the table.
Books line the shelves with stories and old fables.
Sweet music fills the air,
Flowers grow with loving care.
We smile and laugh
As time drifts past.
And in this space
we each go our way,
Knowing that forever
At home, we shall stay.
A unfinished puzzle rests idly on the table.
Books line the shelves with stories and old fables.
Sweet music fills the air,
Flowers grow with loving care.
We smile and laugh
As time drifts past.
And in this space
we each go our way,
Knowing that forever
At home, we shall stay.

Harmony
Harmony
I need no ocean
For it rests inside.
With eyes set on the horizon,
And ears that hear the tide.
I need no star
I can see the light.
It shines right here
Through the dark silent night.
A vision so clear.
A memory so dear.
Everything so far
I hold so near.
I need no ocean
For it rests inside.
With eyes set on the horizon,
And ears that hear the tide.
I need no star
I can see the light.
It shines right here
Through the dark silent night.
A vision so clear.
A memory so dear.
Everything so far
I hold so near.

Alma Mater
Alma Mater
As many dreams as stars in the sky,
Which one to pick, which to deny.
How to know which hold's your fate?
Begone all questions, for this it cannot wait.
As many dreams as stars in the sky,
Which one to pick, which to deny.
How to know which hold's your fate?
Begone all questions, for this it cannot wait.

The Stranger
The Stranger
Strangers all around,
One alone
From out of town.
Who is that stranger over there,
At the end of the bar
With his stranger stare?
He drinks our bews,
Amuses at our women
Listens to our blues
All so unassuming.
He talks to no one,
That lonely man,
And when he's all done
He'll be off again.
On his way
To who knows where.
So much more to see
With My stranger stare.
Strangers all around,
One alone
From out of town.
Who is that stranger over there,
At the end of the bar
With his stranger stare?
He drinks our bews,
Amuses at our women
Listens to our blues
All so unassuming.
He talks to no one,
That lonely man,
And when he's all done
He'll be off again.
On his way
To who knows where.
So much more to see
With My stranger stare.
