On the Wind

On the Wind

Lord I ain’t no saint
But I’m sure no sinner.
A true lover may be taint
For my heart feels dimmer.

Let me know of others
Who can relate their tales.
Where art’ thou brothers?
That have faced such gales.

Have you maintained your course
In those shifting tides?
Have you no remorse
For your weeping brides?

Your hard leather skin
And firmament gaze,
Laughing at sin,
Setting it ablaze.

This fiery soul
I wish to be
Alive and oh’
So easily free.

For your course is fair
Your direction set.
Mistake not worry for care
Nor past for regret.

Tell me of your toils
In waters unknown.
Of purities that spoil
Far off from home.

For I know that you
My brother of this tale
Have a way more true
In a full-winded sail.

And to this you say

Let idle men be
And lunatics laugh.
You’ll pass thee
And tame thy calf.

Let liars lie
And cheats conspire.
For a watchful eye
Will never tire.

Let a poor man hope,
And a rich man dine.
For one mans rope
Is another mans twine.

Let the prudent man rule
So dreamers may dream.
Let the fools be fooled
By the schemers scheme.

And now that you’ve heard
Of this that I’ve seen.
Know that my word
Is all that I mean.

For I am no saint,
Nor am I a sinner.
And all hearts feel faint
In love that grows thinner.

A bride may weep,
Into white satin blue skies
Yet in her heart still keep
Her true lovers eyes.

And virgins will open
Like the sail unto the sea
To hear these whispers spoken
By a man he claims to be.

So to all this I ask
What man are you?
Take off they mask
Tell it now, tell it true.

Loneliness

Loneliness

All the rash decisions and
Careless thinking.
I don’t blame it on the drinking.

All the late night wandering
Into time, sinking sinner,
I don’t blame it on the drinking
I blame you.

Alone, leave me to be.
I won’t miss you,
You won’t miss me.

These tricks you play
In the darkness of night.
Such a jokers way,
A sinners might.

Rid me of you,
These heavy shackles, your
Sorrowful demands.
You’ll find no sympathy here
Where courage of man stands.

For I’ve already left this place
As empty as when you first came.
Now that your gone loneliness
There is only me to blame.

November 1

If man is forced to choose between his country or the world, I choose the later.  For countries are nothing more than fixations of man, and man is but a creation of this world.

Together Alone

Together Alone

I love you when your thinking,
Sinking, away from me.
I love to watch you drifting,
When it's you I really see.

Together alone,
These connections already made.
Our worlds becoming sewn,
In fabric never to fade.

We can endure the tide.
We'll outrun the wind.
I love you when you hide,
For it's in you that you begin.

We'll fly over mountain peaks
And explore new heights.
For in you the seeker seeks,
Aware, fearless of the plights.

So clearly I see you now,
When you don't see me.
It doesn't matter how.
To be is to be.

So go your way,
And I promise I'll go mine.
For even then we'll stay
Together alone in time.

Like the singing morning songs
In the yawning rising sun.
Oh' how my heart longs
To beat and beat as one.

To watch your smile form
And the water well your eyes.
Just like the coming dawn
Abandoning disguise.

So here I dare not leave,
Nor to make my presence known.
For you are all I believe
When together we are alone.

On Your Way

On Your Way

Before our eyes a world is unveiling,
Undressing herself for all to see.
Take to my waters and get sailing,
Go, she beckons, be free.

So together we must go,
Riding high upon your winds.
And only then truly know,
Where our world together begins.

Know no end
As you go your Way.
Like the rivers that bend
Toward her oceans someday.

Your past is a history,
One just like my own.
The future a mystery,
With a present to roam.

Journey this space,
And take with you too,
My blessings of grace
For the souls of your shoe.

To walk down paths untrodden,
Where no footprints may remain.
In the places all but forgotten,
Where history stays still, unchanged.

Be the mightiness of my mountains,
Know the vastness of my seas.
Drink from meandering river fountains,
With nature and all her needs.

And do tell others,
What you find along the Way.
So they too may tell their brothers
That the sun shines another day.

For heavy chains of living,
Have gotten so many down.
In this life forever giving,
From Heavens to the ground.

Oh! Stars of the night,
No one of you the same.
So many of you alike,
Falling, like countless drops of rain.

Who will live to see them shine?
In all their naked glory.
Who will live to take this time,
To write your own life story.

Yes! My world is yours for taking,
As much your own as mine.
This must never be mistaken,
For there is no other time.

Like the birth of a newborn,
These miracles will not wait.
To destiny it is sworn,
Perhaps you call this fate.

So go! Go now,
Take steps without hesitation.
For there is so much to show
Of this magical creation.

Know no end,
This path of one.
Like the river that bends
Under the slowly moving sun.

Rise in one place,
And set in another.
This world is your space,
Like arms of a mother.

Heart-pounding,
Waves on the shore,
This world surrounding,
Is not to ignore.

May you travel light
And be lifted by the breeze.
Hold on tight,
Like the leaves on a tree.

And may you find your way,
When all seems lost.
To know that faith will not stray,
On my oceans it is tossed.

So settle down in motion,
Ride the waves to shore.
Set sail in this ocean,
'Till your soul can seek no more.

You will know too, when this time has come,
To drop your anchor into the seabed.
But for now the rivers run,
Like the dreams in your head.

So open your eyes,
Set sight on the horizon.
Avoid the perils and the lies,
Be as graceful as the sun rising.
